I lead the design work for Ordnance Survey’s Business and Government team, focusing on delivering a cleaner, more accessible digital experience.
To drive adoption and alignment, we introduced a new design system branded as OS Elements, positioning it as a core part of the organisation’s digital future. The result was a unified, user-first approach that simplified complex journeys and improved usability for both public sector clients and internal teams.
The OS Elements design system played a key role in breaking down silos across teams, encouraging a more collaborative approach to both design and content creation. By providing a shared visual language and reusable components, it enabled cross-functional teams to align more effectively, streamline workflows, and co-create consistent, accessible experiences across products and services.
